Lu Xun, Said and the Position and Approach of Criticism

Criticism making, whether in the name of social criticism, cultural criticism, or Lu Xun's “civilized criticism”, is an important mission for intellectuals. With this, the position of the intellectuals is decided by two factors: the historical accumulation of realistic experience and complication of personal identity. Such a position is fluid, unconfined, homeless and out of place, which is genuinely attached to intellectuals.
