Research Progress on Tin-based Anode Materials for Lithium-ion Batteries

Research progress in the Tin-based anode materials for Li-ion batteries is introduced,and the mechanisms of lithium storage and factors effecting lithium storage of the Tin-based anode materials are described.The research status of metal tin,tin oxides,tin-based alloy and tin-based composite as Li-ion batteries anode materials are reviewed.The existing problems are also analyzed.Especially,the different compounds and preparation methods to improve properties are discussed.Finally,the trend of research and development are highlighted.
