Effect of Degradable Material on the Property of Polyethylene Film

Polylactic acid and the starch were blended with low density polyethylene(LDPE)separately and prepared degradable polyethylene(PE)film.Studied the effect of polylactic acid and starch on the mechanical properties,melt flow rate,the crystallization and the micro-structure of PE film.The results showed that the polylactic acid and the starch improved the mechanical properties of PE film,reduced the degree of crystallinity and had little influence in processability of PE.
