Objective: To investigate the influence of hemocoagulase for injection on activated clotting time (ACT),prothrombin time (PT),thrombin time (TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) and platelet(PLT) during open heart surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB). Methods: Fifty-two patients undergoing open heart surgery with CPB were randomly divided into two groups: hemocoagulase group (H,n=27) and control group (C,n=25). Patients in H group Hemocoagulase 1~2 U were injected when CPB were stopped. After 15 minutes,were injected protamine to neutralize heparin (1∶1),then monitored ACT after 10 minutes. In C group protamine were injected when CPB stopped,then monitored ACT after 10 minutes. In addition,all patients were respectively monitored PLT,FIB,PT,APTT,TT of preoperative and postoperative one hour and the volume of blood loss of the first postoperative day. Results: There was no significant difference in age,weight,sexu,operative times and CPB times between two groups;There was no significant difference in PLT,PT,and FIB between two groups. ACT and TT were significant shorter in H group than those in C group(P0.05). The volume of blood loss of the first postoperative day in H group were significant lower than those in C group. Conclusion: Hemocoagulase for injection can shorten ACT and TT and it is a better haemostatic in open heart surgery with CPB.
