The reactions of the cured systems such as bisphenol A cyanate(BCE), dibutyltin dilaurate/BCE, bisphenol A epoxy/BCE and phenol epoxy/BCE have been studied depended on FT-IR. The reactivity of the s ystems has mainly been discussed. The results show that the active energy and th e frequency of contact of the pured cyanate system are 175.0 kJ/mol and 2 .55×1014 min-1 respectively, which are higher than those of the s ystem with catalyst 51.7 kJ/mol, 6.12×102 min-1. The required temperature and active energy of the pure cyanate resin are higher much than mod ified systems by adding catalyst and other resins. And also the modified systems possess rather good properties than pure cyanate resin.
