Interview with Sun Zhanglu, 1984

I did not know Comrade Sha Wenhan. Before Liberation, I never worked with him. After Liberation, Sha was director of the provincial United Front Department, and I was head of the provincial Department of Commerce, so we really did not have any contact in our work. We did, however, see each other at meetings of the provincial people's council. I recall that after Sha returned from the first meeting of the people's consultative conference in Beijing, I heard his report; he spoke very well.
