Strategies for Cultivating Primary and Secondary School Students’ Music Creative Practice Skills from the Perspective of Core Literacy

In today's world, technology is changing rapidly, people's learning environment is new, and the physical and mental development of primary and secondary school students has changed profoundly. Traditional music education concepts, contents, methods and evaluation methods can no longer meet the needs of today's education. Therefore, the new curriculum focuses on the development of students' core literacy and emphasizes their innovative spirit and practical ability. In recent years, in order to meet the demand of cultivating talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, music classrooms in primary and secondary schools have also gradually begun to pay attention to the cultivation of students' creative and practical ability. However, due to the lack of awareness of music teachers about the new standards and the weakness of music teachers in creative practice ability, teachers' cultivation of students' creative practice ability in the classroom is only in the form of making up activities, which makes it difficult for students to express their ideas and improve their creative practice ability. In this context, the author hopes to elaborate on three aspects: the significance of cultivating the creativepractice ability of primary and secondary school students in music, the strategies to enhance the creative practice ability of primary and secondary school students in music, and the problems that should be paid attention to in cultivating the creative practice ability of primary and secondary school students in music, so as to put forward some feasible suggestions in cultivating the creative practice ability of students, hoping to help primary and secondary school music educators.
