Experiments were carried out to recover iron from gold ore tailings with an iron content of 35.11% by adopting magnetizing roasting-magnetic separation-reverse flotation technology, and an iron concentrate with a yield of 34.39%,and an iron grade and recovery of 56.73% and 55.57%,respectively,was produced at a roasting temperature of 750 ℃,a roasting time of 45 minutes,a magnetic field intensity of 144 kA/m,and a consumption of laurylamine for reverse flotation of 350 g/t.This can be regarded as a new technological solution for utilization of these gold ore tailings.
