Marangoni effects on the transfer process of the falling liquid film

Marangoni effects induced by the surface tension gradient,is frequent and influencing in the transfer process of falling liquid film. There were many efforts on the investigation of Marangoni effects by experimental and theoretical methods,and very useful and practical results were got.This paper presents a general review on the studies of the Marangoni effects in the falling liquid film in recent years,and further possibilities on the study of Marangoni effects are discussed.
