Flame-Retardant and Anti-electrostatic Polypropylene Composite

Using the compound of octabromobiphenyl ether(OBDPO) and Sb2O3 as composite flame retardant,The composite was prepared by carbon black(CB),talc and polypropylene(PP) in twin-screw extruder.The effect of the contents on vertical combustion,surface resistivity and thermal stability behavior was studied.The results showed that the vertical combusting grade of the composite came up to FV-0,and the surface resistivity was 3.14×104 Ω when the contents of the compound flame retardant,CB and talc were 30 %,8 % and 6 %,respectively.
