Objective: To study on separation and purification of berberine in Coptis chinensis by macroporous adsorption resin.Methods: From the 10 kinds of different macroporous adsorption resins,the D101 resin which the adsorption performance was 18.08 mg/g and the desorption ratio was over 95% was selected to separate the berberine in Coptis chinensis.Results: The desorption ratio of over 95% could be gotten by using 60% ethanol as eluting solvent and 4-5 BV.Under these experiment conditions,the content of berberine in products was 30.02% and the yield was 9.12%.Conclusion: The method is easy,possessed of popularization and application value.It can be used for separation berberine from Coptis chinensis.
