Research development of urea formaldehyde adhesive with low free formaldehyde

The preparation technology development of the urea formaldehyde adhesive with low free formaldehyde were reviewed.The method included decreasing the molar ratio of formaldehyde to urea,using one or two modifiers choosing form melamine,polyvinyl alcohol and phenol,controlling the polycondensation conditions and adding formaldehyde scavenger.
