The clinical application of thrombelastography

Thrombelastography (TEG)is an image representing the viscoelasticity changes of blood clot in the process of blood clotting, thereby reflecting the ability of blood clotting and fibrinolysis .TEG is increasingly sued in the fields of cardiac surgery,liver transplan-tation and trauma patient treatment.In this review,we discuss the parameters and diagnostic criteria of TEG and its clinical applica-tions.
