摘要
A theoretical study of platinum resistance temperature detector (PRTD) response time characteristics has been conducted as a heat transfer problem. The physical basis for the loop current step response (LCSR) verification has been extended by application of correction factors to improve test accuracy. Results of in-loop tests are described for three alternate PRTD time response methodologies. The equipment needed for and limited time response tests of chromel-alumel thermocouples are described.
