摘要
Introduction: To understand the cortical organization and the underlying brain computational principles, experiments based on simultaneous stimulation and recording from electrode arrays are a straightforward approach. Nevertheless, several technological problems need to be solved in order to be able to implement complex experimental protocols: spatial and temporal recording accuracy, noise, latency, compatibility, signal transmission and material durability.
