55‐2: De‐halo and Adaptive Ratio Local Dimming Algorithm Based on Display Data Compensation

At present, using mini‐LED as the backlight with Local Dimming control algorithm is mainstream HDR program in LCD products. Currently Local Dimming still exists halo effect and other issues, this paper designs a Local Dimming algorithm, and uses FPGA to verify the algorithm, optimize halo, flicker and other issues. After halo effect test verification, halo effect is excellent.
