Crystallization kinetics of semiconducting poly(2,5-bis(3-alkylthiophen-2-yl)-thieno-[3,2-b]thiophene) (PBTTT) from its different liquid phases

Using fast scanning calorimetry, GIWAXS and polarized microscopy, we resolve the thermotropic phase behavior of PBTTT. Moreover we study the crystallization kinetics of PBTTT thin films from the isotropic liquid and the smectic mesophase.
