The Sr,Co and Cs ions adsorption capability of the halloysite in Zunyi of Guizhou Province were studied.The results show that:(1) the adsorption capability of the halloysite for the Sr2+,Co2+ and Cs2+ ions increases with pH of solution;(2) the adsorption ratio of the halloysite for the Sr2+,Co2+ and Cs2+ ions increases and adsorption capability of unit quality decreases with the increase of liquid-solid ratio;(3) in the process of the adsorption of the halloysite for the Sr2+,Co2+ and Cs2+ ions,with the same adsorbent,the adsorption capacity of unit quality increases and adsorption ratio decreases with the rise of initial concentration of Sr2+,Co2+ and Cs2+;(4) the adsorption of the halloysite for the Sr,Co and Cs ions mainly belong to broken bond charge adsorption and molecule adsorption.
