Spectrometric Analysis of the Complex Structure of Propyl Gallate-Iron

The iron complex of propyl gallate(PG-Fe) was prepared from propyl gallate and iron tri-chloride in water solution.The major bands of IR were assigned and compared.The Fe3+ was matched with phenolic hydroxyl through the spectrums.The product characterized by elemental analysis and confirmed the molecular structure.
