Review of poly(lactide-co-amino acid) controlled-release drug carrier microparticles

The preparation and characteristics of the drug loaded microparticles made of poly(lactide-amino acid) are presented primarily in this paper. The characterization of microparticles,such as particle size, polydispersity, surface charge, surface morphology and chemical composition, incorporation and release of drugs,are introduced in detail. Sequentially,the wide application foreground in drug carrier and other occasion of poly(lactide-amino acid) microparticle are prospected.
