Current situation and development strategy of edible fungi industry in China

The current situation of China edible industry was analyzed from a number of aspects including resources of mushroom variety,breeding,cultivation, product processing , trading and so on . The strategy for sustainable development of mushroom industry is suggested upon consideration of the mushroom market both at home and abroad. Following aspects were generalizedas protecting the bio-diversity of edible mushroom, research on finer and deeper processing ,industralization in production and processing ,construction of quality control system ,development of new international market ,and stressing on research and application of bio-technology .
