Poster Presentation : 2P-78 ; Preparation and characterization of graphene oxide /epoxy composites for mechanical behaviors

A simple process has been developed to prepare graphene oxide reinforced epoxy composites. The results showed that graphene oxide can act as toughness for epoxy resins. The incorporation of graphene oxide in epoxy matrix improved the storage modulus of graphene oxide/epoxy composites, but decreased the Tg. graphene in the composites has no significant effect on the thermal stability of the composites. graphene oxide may participate in the curing reaction, which results in the change of the epoxy systems.
