A Si Bipolar 5Gbit/s 8:1 Multiplexer and 4.1Gbit/s 1:8 Demultiplexer

A Si bipolar circuits and package design technology for 5Gbit/s 8:1 multiplexer and 4.1 Gbit/s 1:8 demultiplexer is described. This is the highest bit rate in Si bipolar 8:1 multiplexer and 1:8 demultiplexer reported until now. This bit rate is approximately equal to state-of-are GaAs LSI.[1]
