A polydopamine coating enabling the stable cycling of MnO2 cathode materials in aqueous zinc batteries

A polydopamine coating is applied to the MnO 2 cathode material, which confines dissolved species during discharge and recycles them by back-deposition during charge. The cathode realizes stable cycling in aqueous zinc batteries without Mn additives.
