Content determination of arbutin and its intermediate

Arbutin is widely used as cosmetic additive because of its inhibiting effect on human tyrosinase and excellent skin whitening property.Artificial synthesis becomes the dominant means of producing arbutin because of the complicated procedures and the high cost of extracting from natural plant.A determination method of arbutin and its intermediate is introduced to improve technical conditions of synthesis and purification of arbutin.
