Study on Reactors of Synthesizing Chloroacetyl Chloride from Ketene and Chlorine

In order to synthesize chloroacetyl chloride with ketene and chlorine, the effect of different reactors on synthesizing reaction were studied. As a result, a packing tower with a jacket was selected as the optimum reactor. On this base, the range of gas speed in vacant tower and reaction load was decided.
