Cancer Monitoring Data of Qingdao Citizens,2009

[Objective] To analyse the cancer registration data in Qingdao in 2009 and provide a theoretical basis for the cancer prevention and control.[Methods]Descriptive analysis of monitoring data of cancer was made in Qingdao in 2009.[Results]In 2009,there were 8 392 cases of malignant tumors were reported,of which 5 022 were males and 3 370 females.The top 5 kinds of cancer incidences in the local residents are for Lung cancer,stomach cancer,liver cancer,breast cancer and colorectal cancer,accounting for 62.18% of all kinds of cancer incidences in humanbeing.A total of 13 728 people died of varied cancer,of which 8 959 were males and 4 759 females.The top 5 kinds of cancer are Lung cancer,liver cancer,stomach cancer,esophagus cancer and colorectal cancer,accounting for 72.36% of all kind of malignant tumor deaths.[Conclusion]Lung cancer and digestive cancer are the leading malignant tumors that threaten the life and health of the local residents.
