摘要
Abstract: According to statistics, about $1.25 billion worth of baggage was potentially lost or stolen in 2018. About 77% of mishandled bags were delayed, 18% were damaged or pilfered, and 5% were completely lost or stolen. Baggage being lost, mishandled, and stolen is a widespread problem many of us face. It becomes especially hard for solo travelers and the impaired to lug their luggage around every day. Traveling is such an important aspect of everybody’s lives, yet with the world undergoing a technological revolution, our bags are still not smart. Hence, to help make journeys comfortable and safe, the implemented system proposes the concept of an intelligent suitcase. This project comes under the domain of IoT and is developed using Arduino Uno to make it cost-effective. The features of this system include motion detection, obstacle avoidance, and location tracking. The system has also been tested using multiple test cases.
