Strengthening C–H⋯π intermolecular interactions induces emission enhancement of anthracene derivatives under high pressure

The crystal of an anthracene-based derivative with a carbazole steric hindrance group shows enhanced fluorescence when compressed from 1 atm to 1.0 GPa due to strengthened C–H⋯π interactions.
