The studies on rice transformation by Agrobacterium

The transformation mediated by Agrobacteriumis a hot approach of rice transformation.In this paper several aspects such as the transgenic rice obtained by Agrobacterium-mediated gene transformation ,the factors influencing the transformation of rice and the way of rice contaminated by Agrobacterium,the determination and expression of foreign genes in transgenic rice were discussed.The prospect of Agrobacterium-mediated gene transformation for rice was also proposed.
