Occurrence regularity of main disease of Camellia oleifera in Hunan

By using standard sample method,an investigation was conducted on the disease in the different types of Camellia oleifera forest in main producing areas in Hunan Province( for example,Leiyang,Changning and Liuyang). Survey showed that there were seven major diseases in Hunan Province such as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides,Agaricodochium camellia,Sclerotium rolfsii and so on. Occurrence and harm degree of these diseases had significant seasonal regularity. Through investigation of different types of Camellia oleifera forest,such as nursery,reforestation,young growth,mature forest,scion,old forest and low-yield forest,the occurrence characteristics of the main disease in different types of Camellia oleifera forest were summarized,and it should provide a scientific basis for timely and accurate prevention on these disease.
