Advances of Cr(III) based catalysts for 1-hexene production

Advances of chromium based catalysts for the preparation of 1-hexene from ethylene are reviewed.Structure,selectivity for 1-hexene and catalytic activity of the catalysts consisting of pyrrole ligand,maleiimide ligand,cyclopentadienyl ligand,boratabenzenyl ligand,aryloxide ligand,[O] ligand,[N] ligand,[P] ligand,[P,N] ligand,[S,N] ligand are introduced.Prospects for the development of catalysts for 1-hexene is also proposed.
