Curative Survey of Reflux Esophagitis between Famotidine and Esomeprazole

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of Famotidine and Esomeprazole in the treatment of reflux esophagitis.Methods 55 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups.Group FAM was treated with Famotidine tablet 20 mg twice/d.Group ESO was treated with Esomeprazole During the treatment,deprive the other Maalox and peptic ulcer drugs.The treatment sustained four weeks.Evaluated the clinical symptoms improved and adverse drug reactions were monitored.The cure rate of ESO was better than FAM,and there was a significant difference in the cure rate of two group.The cure rate of Famotidine was 38.5%and Esomeprazole was 65.5%.Results There was no significant difference in the Effectiveness during course of the treatment.Conclusion Both drugs are effective in the treatment of RE.and Esomeprazole is better than Famotidine.
