Study on Wear-resistance of VC-Fe Composite Fabricated by Powder Metallurgy Technique

SEM and XRD were used to observed the microstructure morphology of vacuum sintered composite.The wear-resistance of VC-iron matrix composite was examined on a MM-200 wear-test machine.The wear mechanism of the composite was analyzed.The results show that the composite has the excellent wear-resistance,and VC grain is uniform distributiom and has the good combination with the matrix.
