Factors Effecting Tensile Strength of Polyacrylonitrile-Based Carbon Fibre

Improving tensile strength is one of a critical target for carbon fibre researching.The author is going to analyse all possible factors that will effect polyacrylonitrile carbon fibre characteristic,such as,the quality of raw materials,spinning process,pre-oxidization process,carbonization process and the test method and so on,and provides recommendation on how to improve the tensile strength appropriate: Materials for ploymerization must be fine prepared,and spining dope must be filtered fine;dry-jet wet spin applied to spinning;avoid occurring defects on flaments.
