摘要
It is well known that the prolonged use of excess alcohol causes a multiplicity of abnormal clinical, biochemical and electrophysiological changes that are associated with diseases of the liver, neuromuscular system, heart and brain. It is less well appreciated that the long-term use of excess alcohol also effect bone and may play an important role in the causation of extensive bone loss, and osteoporosis.
