Study on Distribution Characteristics and Chemical Pattern of Boron in Maize

In this paper, the distribution and chemical pattern of boron in maize planted in the soil with or without containing-boron fertilizer were analyzed. The results showed that boron in maize leaves near the roots is much more than that in middle leaves, and boron in middle leaves is more than that in upper leaves, boron in seeds is the least. Results of different part of maize leached by solvents showed that acid-soluble boron is the most, water-soluble boron is the least, EDTA-soluble boron is between acid-soluble boron and water-soluble boron.
