Life’s essential 8, genetic susceptibility, and incident cardiac arrhythmias: a population-based prospective cohort study

Ideal cardiovascular health (CVH) has been associated with reduced cardiovascular disease risk and mortality, but its association with cardiac arrhythmias were still unsettled. In this prospective cohort study, we investigated the relationship between CVH and subsequent arrhythmias risk, including atrial fibrillation/flutter (AF), ventricular arrhythmias, and bradyarrhythmias.
