Abstract Martensite + ferrite micro-layered plates were prepared by the process of quenching and cold rolling of 15CrMo steel. The tensile behavior of the micro-layered plate was tested by an electronic tensile testing machine and then simulated by a finite element software. The results show that: (1) The martensite + ferrite micro-layered structure plate is obtained by quenching and more than 50% cold rolling of 15CrMo steel, which has two characteristics: martensite + ferrite micro lamellar structure parallel to the plate surface and delamination tensile fracture; (2) The tensile strength of cold-rolled specimens are inversely proportional to the layer thickness of martensite + ferrite; (3) The tensile fracture surface of cold-rolled specimens appears the delamination phenomenon.
