The Test of Gross Motor Development-3 is the most widely used test to assess fundamental motor skills, yet its feasibility in virtual assessments remains underexplored. The purpose of this study was twofold: (a) to examine the feasibility of conducting virtual TGMD-3 assessments by evaluating participant adherence, technological factors, environmental factors, and procedural considerations; and (b) to explore therelationship between in-person and virtual assessment scores. Feasibility was assessed by evaluating participant adherence, technological factors, environmental factors, and procedural considerations. Twenty-nine typically developing children completed both virtual and in-person assessments. Feasibility findings showed that virtual assessments, both synchronous and asynchronous, were successfully completed by most participants, with minimal technical issues. Despite some challenges such as WiFi connectivity and video quality, virtual assessments demonstrated high adherence rates and data completeness. In terms of the relationship between virtual and in-person assessments, strong correlations were found between in-person and asynchronous assessments ( r = .76, .85, and .93 for locomotor, ball skills, and total scores, respectively) and synchronous assessments ( r = .78, .85, and .88). These findings suggest that virtual Test of Gross Motor Development-3 assessments can serve as reliable alternatives to in-person evaluations, increasing accessibility to motor skill assessments in educational and clinical settings. Future research should explore how offering the option of virtual or in-person assessments can further expand access to motor skill evaluations.
