摘要
Centrifugal electrospinning (CES), as a method to produce nanofiber materials, has been widely concerned in recent years. CES integrates the advantages of electrospinning and centrifugal spinning technologies, achieving high yield, ultrafine, and well-aligned nanofiber production, thus having a bright prospect in industrialization. This review provides an overview of CES advances in development, devices, materials, fiber structures, and applications. Initially, various needle types in CES devices, such as single-needle, double-needle and multiple-needle are presented. The next then provides an overview of the most recent advancements in significant areas, including bioengineering, energy storage, batteries, sensors, catalysts, transistors and filtration, utilizing CES. In addition, the industrialization status and development direction of CES technology are analyzed. Finally, the challenges and potential opportunities of CES are emphasized. CES is expected to play an important role in the future industrial production of nanofibers.
