Impulsive Consensus Control for General Second-Order Multi-agent Systems

摘要
This paper investigates the consensus problem for general second-order multi-agent systems via distributed impulsive control. Based on eigenvalue analysis and graph theory, a necessary and sufficient conditions of consensus for general second-order multi-agent systems under directed graph is derived. In addition, two simpler sufficient conditions under undirected graph are given to show the relationship of the impulsive period, control gains, eigenvalues among the Laplacian matrix, and system matrix of agents. Finally, a numerical example is performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
