Advances in the Research on Genetic Engineering of Plant Chitinase

Chitin is the main components of fungal cell walls.Chitinase display many physiologic activities in many ways,which universally exist in plants,animals and the tissue of microbe.Studies on chitinase found that many microbes could produce chitinase,and the resistance of plants to fungal plant disease could be improved significantly because of its bioactivity.Many chitinase have been ghosted.Some of them have been used for plant resistance and achieved good effects.
