Study on preparation of natural benzoic acid by photooxidation of natural benzaldehyde

Natural benzoic acid was prepared by catalytic oxidation of natural benzaldehyde with air accompanied with irradiation by light.The effects of reaction temperature and reaction time were studied.The conversion of benzaldehyde was over 50%after 12h at 75℃,selectivity of benzoic acid was about 98%.
