Compactness Controlling Actuality and Controlling Measurement of Expressway Asphalt Pavement

Compactness has important effects on road perpormance and service life of expressway asphalt pavement.Combining with an expressway engineering in Chongqing,this paper carried on the research of the compactness of asphalt pavementg.According to the actual measured data,this paper analyzed the compactness controlling actuality during asphalt pavement construction process,and then proposed some controlling measurements for improving compactness and reducing the compactness variability,which could be consulted in the quality control of asphalt pavement construction in future.
