Study onMicrowave Extraction technology of Flavonoids from Epimedium

Barrenwort is a common kind of medicinal herbs which contains the chief effective chemicals of Epimedium flavonoids.Extraction and purification of flavonoids from Barrenwort have significant effect on the application of Epimedium.The microwave extraction technological conditions of flavonoids from Epimedium were optimized using orthogonal experiment.The results showed that with 65% ethanol solution as solvent,using microwave assisted extraction of Epimedium Flavonoids,the optimum conditions was that the ratio of material to 65% ethanol solvent was 1:14,1:12 and 1:12,and extraction time was 20min.
