Study on HPLC fingerprint analysis of Phyllanthus emblica L

Objective To establish a method of fingerprint analysis on Phyllanthus emblica L. by HPLC. Methods The chromatographic finger-prints were obtained by HPLC.The detective wave-length was set at 218 nm;the flow rate was1.0 ml/min and the column temperature was maintained at 25℃. Results 15 co-possessing peaks were selected as the fingerprint peaks of Phyllanthus emblica L. and good similarities with correlation coefficients higher than 0.9 were found in fingerprints between the different samples of Phyllanthus emblica L. and the standard fingerprint. Conclusion The method with good reproducibility is simple and accurate,it can be used as an effective quality control method for Phyllanthus emblica L
