Objective:To study the effect of changes both in immune function and CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells function and the level of estradiol on pregnancy in pregnant women. Methods: The proportion of T lymphocyte cell subsets and CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells of peripheral blood were were determined by flow cytometry, and the level of estradiol were detected in 30 cases of pregnant women,in addition,20 cases of women were included serving as control group. Results: The proportion T lymphocyte cell subsets had a significant difference compared to controls,CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells and the level of estradiol were higher than those in control group. Conclusion: The immune function in pregnant women are inhibited,CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells and estradiol play important roles in modulating immune tolerance of pregnant women.
