SolidWorks was applied to build the solid model of a SLO2496 vibrating screen, and then the model was imported to ANSYS Workbench to carry out modal analysis and harmonic response analysis.The natural frequencies and modal vibration shape of preceding 12 orders as well as dynamic response at working frequency were achieved.In addition, vibration shape at the natural frequency nearest to the working frequency was identified, and the dynamic stress distribution of the screen at rated loadings and dynamic stress concentration area were achieved also.And then, the structural optimization scheme was proposed, and parts of the screen were reconstructed.After comparison and analysis, it was concluded that the reconstructed screen possessed the working frequency far away the natural frequency and improved stress concentration.
