Review of the Factors Influencing the Ability of Delay of Gratification

Delay of gratification is the decision for having a more valuable goal by giving up immediate satisfaction and the ability of self-control during the waiting period. The ability of delay of gratification has something to do with children's future confidence,success and the ability of dealing with frustration. This paper synthesizes the individual and environmental factors influencing the ability to enlarge the vision about it,allowing the educators to instruct children to develop better.
